When we perform on behalf of a charitable organization, we ask them to cover a few direct expenses such as travel and equipment rental. Beyond that, all money raised goes directly to benefit that organization. But we too have expenses: Arrangements, postage, printing, insurance, telephone...you get the picture.

You can be a Band of Long Island sponsor with denominations starting at $100. That will buy us an arrangement. Larger amounts will help us buy equipment, and cover expenses for one of our performances at a Nursing Home. Then there is program printing, and all of the other administrative expenses. All band members serve without pay; however, we request a small amount of money to reimburse expenses.
